Detailed description of Overlake Golf Course
Overlake Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Tooele, Utah.
The course is an "Americanized" links style course. The course has 11 water hazards scattered about.
The course plays to a par-72 and has four sets of tee boxes. From the back tees, the course plays to a whopping 7,248 yards, from the expert tees the length is 6,697 yards, the intermediate tees are set at 6,139 yards, and the forward tees play to 5,361 yards.
$26 (cart included), played on Saturday, October 2011 at 10am
Great price and the pace of play is great.
$36 (cart included), played on Saturday, June 2008 at 2pm
Windy! No trees, truly an open Lynx style course, really flat. There is a bit of water that comes into play on a few holes. The fairways and greens are in good shape. No course marshall or drink cart. Bring suntan lotion no shade anywhere.

Staff were great, went out with one starter whom was very helpful. Came back in with a very friendly employee familiar with a ruling me and my partner had, he was very engaging in conversation, even giving us a new education of the area of which he had grown up in. The course was very green, the greens were a bit slow, but they rolled well. Overall very fun and wish some trees would cover a bit more to find shade on the hot days!
